Grow Local Colorado has started a Garden Space Exchange to help connect those looking for a garden with those seeking to share their unused garden space.
Garden Space Exchange is essentially a message board for sharing details on the garden you have or the one you’re looking for. A variety of spaces were recently available, including a 2,000-square-foot plot with an automatic irrigation system, a smaller garden no longer planted by an elderly couple, and a small front-yard space between the sidewalk and street in Denver’s Baker neighborhood.
Tip: For those seeking space, it seems helpful to note any expertise or investing you’re willing to do. (Want to chip in on water? Specialize in permaculture?)
