On Cyber Monday, we have a different sort of wish list for you to fulfill: Here are four ways you can help others this week.
Warm Up: Help keep feet toasty this winter by donating new or gently used socks to the Sock It To ‘Em campaign. The third annual drive aims to collect 50,000 pairs of socks for homeless individuals in the Denver area. Show off your bare feet—or at least your ankles, on December 11 for No-Socks-To-Work Day to help promote the cause. Now through Dec. 29; multiple drop-off locations
Work It: Need an excuse to head to the slopes? The National Sports Center for the Disabled is seeking volunteers for its winter sports program in Winter Park. Volunteers instruct disabled skiiers, set up courses, and help with equipment. Now; 1801 Mile High Stadium Circle, #1500
Give and Receive: As part of the Share-A-Gift program, donate a book, toy, or game and you’ll get a free admission to the Boulder History Museum. The museum is helping accumulate donations for children in the Boulder Valley School District who might not otherwise get a gift this holiday season. Now through Dec. 18; 1206 Euclid Ave., Boulder
Indulge: Your next dinner out could help feed a child. Sage Restaurant Group’s three restaurants in Denver—Second Home Kitchen + Bar, the Corner Office, and Kachina Southwestern Grill—will donate 10 percent of all proceeds from the Dine Out event to Share Our Strength‘s “No Kid Hungry” campaign. The organization seeks to end hunger and poverty through educational programs for families. Wed. 5-10 p.m.; 150 Clayton Lane, 1401 Curtis St., and 10600 Westminster Blvd., Westminster
