Fort Collins will give cyclists a little more breathing room on its roads with a plan to reconfigure bike-only lanes on the city’s newly paved streets.
The city is experimenting with revamped bike lanes that will include a painted, hatch-marked strip to separate cyclists from vehicle drivers. The buffer, city officials have said, will extend between two and three feet beyond the bike lane.
