The It Factor for Denver: Women will like Nanette Lepore’s spring collection for many of its girly wardrobe additions, like a gold-sequinned mini shirtdress with frayed hem, a laser-cut “lace” blouse or mini shift dress, and a floral-print bikini with a retro-style, high-waisted brief.
The Gist of It: Lepore’s line is full of bright colors—corals, pinks, berry tones—as well as springtime floral prints woven together with an apron motif. From a striped chiffon blouse worn under a white apron-wrap dress to a chiffon raspberry-and-orange-print maxi dress, the feminine theme makes an appearance—both literally and figuratively—throughout the collection. But the highlight of the runway show was definitely Lepore’s maxi dresses, particularly a blush-pink tea-length number with an asymmetrical apron neckline.
