Denver and Boulder have drawn their swords in the culinary battle.
This week, while 34 Boulder restaurants (from Mateo to The Kitchen) dish up three courses (think heirloom squash soup, braised Colorado short ribs, and pumpkin cheesecake) for $26 during the annual First Bite Boulder event, select Denver restaurants (including Duo and Osteria Marco) and Open Table host the Appetite Stimulus Plan, a meal deal that offers three-plate lunches for $24 and $35 dinners. Undoubtedly, the winner is the diner, especially he who makes it to both occasions.
