I’ve been hearing more and more tales of work woe lately—more folks getting laid off, stuck in jobs they are too nervous to leave, or simply not finding enough work, period.
Booza-Polooza, happening tomorrow at the Bannock Street Garage, just might be the perfect distraction from these unfortunate realities.
The event starts at 11 a.m. with a DJ playing in the Garage (a good place to take cover if it’s chilly outside). The $3 cover buys you a wristband that’s good for an entire day of body painting, food vendors, and music from four bands, which take the stage starting at 7:30 p.m. Tallboys and shots of Jameson are just $3.
Bonus: Eddie Morrissey, owner of the Garage, has partnered with several car clubs and is blocking off the streets between 10th and 11th to show off their hot rods. The show is free.
