A reader of Penny Parker’s column seems surprised that singer Toby Lightman wore an Eastern Conference jersey while singing “Rocky Mountain High” at Sunday’s NBA All-Star game — oblivious to the fact, apparently, that Lightman isn’t from Colorado. She grew up in New Jersey and lives in New York.

A far better question would be: Who thought it was a good idea to sing “Rocky Mountain High” at the NBA All-Star Game?
