The bad news: Summer is almost over. The good news: Declaration Brewing Co. is throwing a party to welcome fall and commemorate the grand opening of its new, dog-friendly beer garden. If you enjoy cold beer, live music, and hanging out with cute (adoptable!) puppies, you won’t want to miss it.
Next Saturday, September 30th, Overland’s two-year old, certified green brewery will be partnering with Dumb Friends League to celebrate its new patio, enclosed by a brewer-welded fence made from recycled bicycle parts. The public celebration will feature live music from Zack Maruniak and Kindred Soulz, food from the Gyros King food truck, and local gourmet doggie treats from Smart Cookie Barkery cart.
If you’ve got your own furry friends, bring’ em down. If not, no worries—you can hang out with the Dumb Friends League’s cute pups, and even take one home, if you wish—as you quaff a Purloined Pearl Pale Ale. Even better? $1 from each pint sold will be donated to the DFL’s animal adoption efforts.
The celebration will be taking place from 12-6 p.m., with live music beginning at 2 p.m. Declaration’s dog-friendly patio will remain open year-round.
