The Colorado Springs Gazette reports:
Colorado Springs police are investigating who cut the Internet line running into Democratic congressional candidate Jay Fawcett’s campaign office. Staffers could not get online Thursday, when they had planned on e-mailing delegates to tonight’s congressional district assembly.

Police have not determined who did it, and James said that only party leaders and campaign staff have been in the Old Colorado City office. The line was fixed, and the e-mail was sent. “It’s just a strange thing to happen the day before the assembly,” James said.
Fawcett is running for Congress from Colorado’s 4th District.
