Late last month, construction workers building a chic new condo complex downtown called the Spire reached the uppermost point–474 feet in 41 stories. The milestone for developer Randy Nichols’ $120 million, 500-unit skyscraper at 891 14th Street in the theater district means the building is on track to open in November–and sales begin sometime next week, according to the Denver Business Journal. The DenverInFill Blog took a peek inside, but could only get to the 12th floor because the construction lift wasn’t yet operating. Yet “even from there the views were stunning.” The building has some green features, including a recycling chute on every floor. How much will a unit set you back? Let’s put it this way: About 60 percent of the units will be priced below $400,000, according to the Infill.
