These days, Pinterest and Instagram are valid avenues for inspiration in just about any facet of life—including starting your own business. Which is why it’s no surprise that Denver moms Jenny Walsh and Kathryn Thole took to stylish kids’ Instagram accounts when opening their kids’ clothing boutique, Fig & Fawn. The duo launched the business in April of this year, but not before spending half-a-year scouring through “grams” of fashion-forward tots for ideas on precocious and precious kiddie fashions and furnishings. The online children’s boutique and pop-up shop features a selection of unique, handpicked pieces for babies and toddlers that range from $5 to $200.
If the name doesn’t allude to enough, Fig & Fawn’s collection is curated under the mantra “Petite. Sweet. Unique” They outfit newborns to 4T, have a collection of pieces made by small-batch, local and foreign manufacturers. Instead of taking root with a traditional storefront at this time, the partners have opted for a sleek, habit-inducing e-commerce site, and a series of dates and locations to exhibit their precious finds. Don’t miss Fig & Fawn’s next pop-up shop at The Source this Saturday and Sunday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and check their website for other event updates. Making your baby Instagram famous might not be on your to-do list—but with Fig & Fawn, at least they’ll look the part.
