The tall, bright windows, lime-green ceiling, and wood furniture of Boulder’s Lola Gray home decor store give the space a low-key, exotic vibe. The shop is named after two of owner Barbara Bork’s family friends and offers both modern and traditional pieces. Recycled and reupholstered finds alternate with new items interpreted in classic styles. The showroom, which consists of one large, open space, feels a bit like a quirky collector’s home—and, in a way, it is: Most of the merchandise, from African sculptures to a green faux-alligator-skin ottoman, are conversation starters that Bork purchased while traveling. In fact, the eclectic inventory at Lola Gray makes browsing the store feel a bit like an international treasure hunt. lolagrayhome.com
