Goodbye and good riddance to Dacono city councilwoman Sandra Tucker. Tucker has announced she will leave the city council following disclosure of her e-mail that left just about no group unoffended.

The email said “… being a Democrat is worse than “being a black disabled one-armed drug addicted Jewish queer” who has a “Mexican boyfriend.”

Tucker still doesn’t regret the e-mail. She thinks people need a better sense of humor and is tired of political correctness.

Tucker’s brand of bigotry is not funny and has no place in government. Dacono is far better off without her.
