One of our favorite Denver boutiques is getting a sibling. Last week, Platt Park favorite Melrose & Madison opened a second location in Highlands Square. That means double the options for casual but chic denim, bohemian blouses, and eye-catching cocktail attire. And the new shop is also carrying one of our current obsessions: crochet dresses.
It’s a trend straight out of the 1970s—but M&M carries a version by Karina Grimaldi that looks sleek and modern rather than homespun and folksy (a major plus factor). To keep this dress on-trend (and classy—hello peek-a-boo panels) wear it with a pointed-toe flat with ankle straps or, for more of an edge, a sharp peep-toe ankle bootie.
Try out the trend for yourself during M&M’s grand opening party Saturday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The festivities include a lash and beauty bar from Vert Beauty, as well as special discounts all day long.
