The University of Colorado Buffaloes football team must improve its quarterbacks if the team wants to improve its 5-7 record from last year and make some noise in the Big 12, according to INDenverTimes. The team doesn’t have a starter yet. Coaches are letting incumbent starter Cody Hawkins (pictured), backup Tyler Hansen, and third-stringer Matt Ballenger battle it out.
But after just four spring practices, Hawkins, a junior, and Hansen, a sophomore, appear to be in a battle for the starting job. The coaches are hoping to have a pick by the end of spring drills.
