It was cold on Saturday night at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City but worth the trek for fans of the Colorado Rapids. Coming in as a substitution, English midfielder Terry Cooke scored against Kansas City in the 65th minute to break open what had been a defensive grudge match (via The Associated Press). Four minutes later, Kansas City’s Michael Kraus tied the game, but Rapids’ striker Omar Cummings booted in the game winner (Rapids 2, Wizards 1). The Rapids are 1-1.
