X-rays show a probable fracture following the team’s 24th win of the season last night, a 135-115 trouncing of Indiana, according to The Denver Post, which notes that the injury could be a “major blow for a Nuggets team that was beginning to look like a serious contender for the first time in 20 years.”

As for point guard Chauncey Billups, he’s “just praying on it.”
