The stress and strain of holiday shopping can sometimes drive you to drink; now you can do both while supporting your neighbors.

Denver’s 2nd annual Holiday Flea kicks off this Thursday with VIP events that precede the all-access events running through the weekend. The massive gathering brings together about 150 Colorado-centric vendors, live music, and holiday shoppers under one roof at the 80,000-square-foot site of the old Denver Post production facility at 4400 Fox Street near the Globeville neighborhood.

For $45 on Thursday and $35 on Friday, you can get early access to the vendors, which sell just about everything, including clothing, jewelry, art, furniture, and food and drink. (General admission for the Saturday and Sunday sessions is $5 per person.) All the products on hand come from state or local vendors or otherwise “promote the Colorado lifestyle.” A portion of the weekend admission proceeds will benefit Reading Partners, a nonprofit organization that promotes youth literacy.

Denver Flea stages its events quarterly in locations around the city, but the Holiday version is easily its largest. So if you want to knock out most (or all) of your Christmas shopping while partying it up with family, friends, and even some local bands—each day features one or more area musical acts—the Holiday Flea has you covered.
