los_campesinosThe success of Los Campesinos! can be traced to one thing: the Internet. Not only did the indie-pop band from Cardiff, Wales first garner acclaim on MySpace, but it draws its influences from groups (Pavement, Yo La Tengo) that feed the alternative music world’s blogs and e-zines.

And the band doesn’t only rule in cyberspace. The seven-member group–which includes a violinist, guitarists, and even a melody horn–commands a stage with its energetic live shows.
