The Local newsletter is your free, daily guide to life in Colorado. For locals, by locals.
In the spirit of Brazilian theater master and 2008 Noble Peace Prize nominee Augusto Boal, the Museo de las Americas hosts an evening of theater of the oppressed.
Boal, an exiled political activist, developed this expressive brand of theater, which invites audiences to participate in its performances about challenging social issues. Although Boal won’t make tonight’s performance, local filmmaker Gwylym Cano will engage the audience and actors in this interactive theater experience.
