Where else can you grab a Colorado Kölsch brew, listen to a live band, and overlook Cherry Creek? Try “Beats on the Creek,” which launched last week at French-inspired restaurant, Coohills (1400 Wewatta Street). Every Tuesday—through August 7—the restaurant is using the outdoor patio and adjacent bridge over Cherry Creek to host a free concert for patrons. High-top tables and multiple bars are situated on the bridge, and the band plays at the southwest end. The doors open at 5 p.m. and music begins at 6 p.m. To learn more about “Beats on the Creek” visit this Facebook page.
Get Involved: Proceeds go to the Greenway Foundation, an organization that’s dedicated to improving the South Platte River and nearby tributaries.
