Back in September, we published “Colorado’s Best Craft Beers,” a mammoth beer-tasting undertaken by 5280 editors Natasha Gardner, Geoff Van Dyke, and myself. After sampling nearly 100 commercially distributed craft beers, we ranked our 30 favorites in nine different categories.
We also assembled our dream mix-six: a half dozen of our very favorite suds, including Dale’s Pale Ale (Oskar Blues Brewery), White Rascal (Avery Brewing), Milk Stout (Left Hand Brewing Co.), and Odell Brewing Co.‘s Cutthroat Porter, India Pale Ale, and the seasonal Red Ale. Five months later, that sixer has become a reality.
The 5280 Six Pack hit Front Range liquor stores—including Argonaut Wine & Liquor, Bonnie Brae Wine & Liquor Mart, Applejack Wine & Spirits, and Liquor Mart—yesterday. (For a complete list of participating locations, click here.) With only 5,280 distributed, the Six Pack is available for a limited time only. Snag one while you can.
