It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago that Upslope Brewing Company was one of the craft beer newbies along the Front Range. (The brewery opened in North Boulder in November 2008.) Now, after expanding its operation six times in its original location, Upslope is finally ready for a second facility. This Wednesday, Upslope will open a new brewery and taproom on 55th and Central Avenue in Flatiron Park in Boulder. The 17,000-square-foot space will allow Upslope to increase its production by 70 percent.
“Demand for our beer continues to grow exponentially and ongoing expansion at the current location doesn’t meet our future goals,” said Upslope Founder, Matt Cutter, in a statement about the expansion. “Flatiron Park has the infrastructure that our production brewery needs to take it to the next level.”
Upslope also plans to continue operating its taproom in North Boulder. “We always want to be a part of this growing community,” Cutter said. “The NoBo vibe is infused in these walls and in these tanks. We are very thankful for the people who have supported us from the early days, through both the victories and the growing pains.”
Upslope’s new taproom at 1898 S. Flatiron Court will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.
