August Issue: Get It While You Can

Our August DNC issue, featuring a cover illustrated by renowned artist Shepard Fairey, seems well on its way to becoming a collector’s item. We’re hearing from our newsstand distributors that the issue is already racking up big sales. At one of the area’s largest newsstands, nearly half of the copies normally bought in a month were sold in the magazine’s first five days on sale. Other retailers are reporting impressive sales as well. Bottom line: Distributors are worried that the August issue may well sell out before the end of the month when the Dems arrive. That’s a good problem to have, but consider yourself warned. Get your copy while you still can.
