In December, 1985, alleged cocaine smuggling kingpin Steven Grabow was killed by a bomb planted in his car at the Aspen Club. It was a month before his federal trial was scheduled to commence. No one was ever charged in his death. Saturday night, in a segment filmed in Aspen, America’s Most Wanted will feature Steven’s death, naming former Aspenite Robert Young as one who is a “person of interest” in the murder and also wanted for other crimes.
The Aspen episode of “America’s Most Wanted” features a re-enactment of the Aspen Club bombing, filmed in Denver. Eleven local actors were used for Aspen shots, said Angela Seaman, who runs a local modeling agency. The show screens this Saturday night on Fox at 9 p.m.
