The airlines advise arriving three hours before your flight. You can check your flight status here. More helpful advice is here. You’ll need longer if travelling on a British airline. Also, the rules for those flights prohibit bringing any electronic devices, including cell phones, iPods and laptops on board. Some flights even preclude bringing books or newspapers on board.
