It might be a stretch to call this glamping—getting to some of these yurts is no glamorous process. Offering 13 different options in the Colorado State Forest State Park near Walden, you’ll need to hike or cross-country ski to get to some of these yurts and cabins (others are drive-up). But once you’re there, you’re totally secluded. Choose to take it easy with the provided beds, woodstove, and cooking facilities—or get outside for some snowshoeing, ATVing, snowmobiling, or skiing. Extra bonus: 60 percent of all moose in Colorado reside within the state park, according to Never Summer Nordic, so you might want to brush up on your moose safety tips.

The only Colorado spot on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2016 Gold List, Dunton Hot Springs southeast of Telluride offers 13 stunning cabins in a setting you have to see to believe. Check out the Ski and Soak option, which features four nights in the Dunton Town House in Telluride and three nights (meals, beverages and more included) at one of the hot springs cabins in the wilderness. A bathhouse, film screening room, gym, and ice skating are all offered on the premises. Good luck getting yourself to leave.

Here’s an off-the-board option: In the “living ghost town” of Silverplume, Shae Whitney and Brady Becker make teas and bitters for Dram Apothecary, just a floor below where you can spend the night in one of the two posh spaces they rent as Airbnbs. Just 10 minutes away from Loveland and 30 minutes from Arapahoe Basin, this is a true getaway for those searching for ultimate peace and quiet. We mean it: As Whitney and Becker warn their guests, Silverplume has no restaurants or grocery stores.

If you’re cool with breaking the bank, the Gant‘s Aspen heli-skiing package might be your ticket to the three greatest nights of your life. With nightly rates ranging from $250–$300 per couple, Antero features many of the amenities you’ll find at other (fancier) hot springs resorts, including massage and spa treatments, but without the steep price tag. Certified massage therapist Denise Ackert offers everything from deep tissue to integrative massage, or choose a two-hour recovery treatment, complete with Arnica massage, hot stones, and a salt glow scrub.
