Motus Theater’s Welcoming the Stranger Series | June 7
The Boulder theater kicks off its Welcoming the Stranger series with Reverend Pedro Silva performing a virtual reading of Alejandro Fuentes-Mena’s autobiographical story about his journey to becoming one of the first two “DACAmented teachers” in the country. Anythink’s Backyard Concert Series | June 12
The annual concert series is quite literally bringing the live sounds to your backyard this year, with this month slated to kick off with a live set from Walker Williams Band—the Mile High country music legend that has shared stages with the likes of Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard. The live stream is free, and any donations will directly benefit the Anythink Foundation’s library programs, activities, capital projects, and more around Adams County. Virtual Juneteenth Festival | June 18

PrideFest | June 20-21
For the first time in its 44 year-history, Denver’s PrideFest will be shifting online. The extravagant fête will still feature ample opportunities to celebrate, including video entries for a virtual parade, a dance party with local DJs, and a digital marketplace job board of LGBTQ-friendly employers. Festivalgoers will also have chance to support dozens of statewide LGBTQ advocacy organizations and resources like One Colorado and the Center on Colfax.
