Jeremy Pruitt grew up on a farm, and in high school he made a logo for his “studio” out of construction paper. Now, he’s a senior designer at Cultivator Advertising and Design in Denver, and the winner of 5280’s first cover contest. He designed the cover for the July 2013 “Top of the Town” issue, which also happens to commemorate the magazine’s 20th anniversary. The cover (pictured below) is worn and rough, but also refined, like much of the work he does under the brand Thinkmule.
Roll your mouse over the cover to learn more about the design, in Pruitt’s own words.
