Blackened Whiskey Dinner
Crafting the perfect whiskey is sort of like penning the perfect song—perhaps that’s why Metallica is so good at both. Taste the heavy metal band’s Blackened whiskey alongside a four-course meal hosted by Guard and Grace. Chef Troy Guard will include dishes such as 24-hour smoked and grilled beef ribs, osso buco, and a whiskey affogato. Each course will be paired with whiskey tastings and craft cocktails. Jan. 8; 5:30 p.m.; $195 per person

Mozart & Now with Peter Oundjian
Going to the symphony doesn’t have to feel like a trip back to the 1700s. Each night’s repertoire will be slightly different, but if you’re into oldies, we suggest snagging a seat for Sunday’s all-Mozart show. Jan. 10–12; Friday and Saturday 7:30 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m.; starting at $13
