Nothing can repay the lifetime of sacrifices a mother makes, but that won’t stop us from trying. For all those years spent sprinkling chocolate chips in your pancakes just how you like them, cutting off crusts so you don’t have to, or even pouring you a bowl of Cheerios better than you could ever hope to for yourself, she’s earned a morning off. Treat her to a well-deserved Mother’s Day brunch. Here, eight of our favorites.

TAG: If you’d like to give Mom a Hawaiian vacation but just couldn’t quite make it happen this Mother’s Day, TAG offers the next best thing: an island-inspired three-course meal featuring grilled shrimp, Hawaiian fish, and a lilikoi-orange tart. It’s not all fish and citrus, though; waffles, steak and eggs, and breakfast burritos are on the menu, as well. 1441 Larimer St.; tag-restaurant.com

Bonanno Brothers Pizzeria: Another atypical brunch option for moms wanting more than omelets, Bonanno Brothers is expanding the menu with a special breakfast pizza and frittatas, just for your special lady. Also, her bottomless mimosa or build her own Bloody Mary is on the house. 1851 W. 38th Ave.; bonannobrotherspizzaria.com

Parallel Seventeen: Mom wants something a little different than standard brunch fare? Parallel Seventeen offers the typical late-morning food groups—carbs, fruits, and eggs—but does it with a Vietnamese twist. Special for Mother’s Day: Try the leek and artichoke quiche. 1600 E. 17th Ave.; parallelseventeen.com

Cru Food and Wine Bar: The wine country brunch at Cru features a three-course meal with 90 possible combinations, perfect for mothers who want both savory and sweet—and a bottle of wine to go with it. 1442 Larimer St.; cruawinebar.com

Coohills: If Mom tends to be a little indecisive, treat her with the brunch buffet at Coohills. In addition to a breakfast station featuring fruit, eggs, and breads, she can enjoy as much prime rib and roast turkey as a mom could ever ask for. Bonus: bottomless mimosas. 1400 Wewatta St.; coohills.com

Charcoal Restaurant: Another brunch buffet, Charcoal combines traditional brunch selections with European specialties, such as Swedish pancakes with lingonberry preserves or a croque madame, a classic French favorite. 43 W. 9th Ave.; charcoaldining.com

Row 14 Bistro & Wine Bar: Row 14 is known for its excellent wine selection, but it’s the bourbon French toast that has us intrigued. Also on the menu: spiced agave ham, roasted pepper hash, and for the less adventurous moms, a build-your-own omelet station. 891 14th St., Suite 100; row14denver.com

Lake Terrace: For a destination Mother’s Day, head south to the Broadmoor, which features hundreds of menu choices and is quite likely the only brunch that includes live piano music and elegant ice sculptures. 1 Lake Ave, Colorado Springs; broadmoor.com
