Indulge in these inventive dishes (made with bison sourced from Hudson’s Rock River Ranch) at Beast & Bourbon, the first installment of Urban Farmer’s quarterly tasting menu dinner series. April 1; 7 p.m.; $195 per person
Harlem Globetrotters at Ball Arena

Watch the beloved ballers perform their new routine—and maybe even get the chance to interact with the talent. April 3; 7 p.m.; starting at $43

A Charlie Blackmon look-alike contest. Purple margaritas. Hot-dog-eating competitions. If you’re a Rockies fan, there’s only one place to be this weekend, and that’s Coors Field. Hit up Poka Lola Social Club, Kachina Cantina, and Viewhouse (respectively) for the aforementioned festivities, or, if you’re lucky, snag a seat inside the stadium to cheer on the Rox in person. April 4–6; times vary; prices vary
Denver Ramen Festival
While you certainly won’t catch us slandering 99-cent instant noodles, we also acknowledge that there are endless ways to better a bowl of ramen—and we bet this soup soiree will give us a few good ideas. Sample brothy bites from dozens of local establishments, including Daughter Thai, Mecha Noodle Bar, and Ramen Star. Make sure you leave room for drinks and dessert from Sweet Rice Flour and Yomie’s Rice and Yogurt. April 5; noon–4 p.m. & 4:30–8:30 p.m.; from $118

If your little ones are growing a bit tired of your bedtime stories (or you’re growing a bit tired of “Baby Shark”), expand your family’s repertoire by heading to this cultural experience. This bilingual performance of The Three Little Pigs will be narrated in both Spanish and English, plus accompanied by a 16-piece orchestra. Each attendee will receive a copy of the storybook—in both languages—so they can follow along. April 5; 10 a.m. & 11:30 a.m; $10
