When Bridget Rogers launched Denver-based startup Cloth & Gold in October, she had a simple but lofty mission in mind: to revive the lost art of in-home entertaining. Her online tablescape-rental service delivers everything the harried modern host needs to pull off a chic dinner party—table settings, styling tips, menus, and even curated Spotify playlists—and then whisks it all away after the party, dirty dishes and all. The online ordering process is equally effortless: Pick your favorite tablescape, then input the number of place settings (available in increments of four) and delivery date—and you’re done. Each gorgeous setting features a texture-rich and fashion-forward mix of luxe linens, dishes, and glassware. The “Dollface” design (pictured here) riffs on the mixed-metals trend with copper charger plates, rose-gold flatware, and a mercury-glass flower vase, which Rogers recommends filling with pink roses for a bridal or baby shower, or white hydrangeas for a casual brunch. The look is gussied-up but not overdone, ensuring your guests will be wowed—and convinced you pulled it all together yourself. $72 for a four-person kit
