Last week I spotted a new addition–sugar cookies, cut and iced to look like fried eggs and strips of bacon–to Adagio Baking Company‘s usual line-up of fresh-baked scones, cookies, and muffins. The playful goodies give new meaning to the breakfast-for-dessert trend that’s shaping the nation’s sweet menus.
